Our Story

Our journey began in Brisbane in 2015, when a swipe on Tinder led to our very first lunch date at a seafood restaurant in Newstead. It turns out, sometimes the best matches really do happen online—and from that afternoon on, our story has been filled with laughter, adventures, and the kind of everyday moments that make life truly special.

In 2020, we packed up our lives and moved to Canberra, ready for a new chapter together. The following year, we bought our first apartment—a place that quickly became home to us and our two mischievous cats, Morrigan and Loki. In 2024, we took another exciting leap and moved into our very first house, making even more room for Nicholas’ ever-growing collection of cars and Lauren’s ever-growing collection of books and plants.

We’ve shared so many adventures along the way, from exploring Tasmania, Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia, to wandering the streets of Portugal and Switzerland together. But the most unforgettable moment came in September 2024, during a road trip down the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide. At the breathtaking London Bridge, Nicholas got down on one knee and asked the question that would start our next big adventure.

Now, surrounded by family, friends, two cats, and a few too many cars, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our journey together with you.

We have organised buses for pickup and drop-off from Canberra

Transportation

Buses will collect you from Kingston and Canberra City and drop you to Petrichor Farm in time for the ceremony, and return you back to either pickup location following the reception.

Average Canberra temperature for April is highs of 20C with evening lows of 6C

April can see some light rainfall. There is a wet weather contingency plan in place.

Photos

We ask that you respect our wishes with no photography during the ceremony. Any photos from reception, please don't post them online until we do.

Formal with Autumn vibes (think: burnt orange, sage, earthy colours)

For invited guests only

Our wedding is an adults-only celebration, and only invited guests can be accommodated for our special day. Thank you for your understanding.

Food & Drinks

Following the ceremony there will be a grazing table, followed by a sit-down dinner. Please let us know in your RSVP response if you have any special dietary requirements.
